I am the wordsmith, the artificer of phonetic construction
My forge of my art is my mind Roget’s and Webster, my working tools
My motto “By the strength of words, shall this house be establish”
I play with antonyms, synonyms, and homonyms on a whim
I shaped them, mold them, and bend them to my will
Nouns that name, verb verbose, active adjective and adverbs
Conjunctions connecting, preparing prepositions while I INTERJECT
Some color in this house
I take them into my forge, hammer with pen, pad, my anvil
And I create monuments that pay tribute to thoughts and ideas
My working tools at my side, craft and guile, my gift
For I am the wordsmith
